How it works

  1. 1 Sign upConfirm with your Nostr key. You can pull out until sign-up closes.
  2. 2 The drawWhen sign-up closes, players are seeded by Elo, equal Elo by earlier sign-up. The hash of the next Bitcoin block seeds the bracket.
  3. 3 PlayReport your series; the other side confirms it. Winners move on until the last match decides.

Questions

How does Duel work?

Lose once and you are out. Winners move on until two are left for the final. Good for: Little time, many players, or a show final on stream.

What if someone does not show up?

Results come from the players: one side reports, the other confirms. If they disagree, an admin decides.

How are seeds set?

By Elo at sign-up close, equal Elo by earlier sign-up.

For the nerds: the proof on Nostr

The league signs the tournament as a calendar event and, when it has a solo pool, the draw. Anyone can re-check them with these ids.
