How does Two Stage work?
First small groups where everyone plays everyone, then the best of each group play a knockout bracket to the final. Good for: 8 or more players or teams who want both: several games each and a real final.
What if someone does not show up?
Results come from the players: one side reports, the other confirms. If they disagree, an admin decides.
How are seeds set?
By Elo at sign-up close, equal Elo by earlier sign-up.
How is the prize pool paid out?
When the tournament has ended, an admin checks it and closes the pool. The pool is split by place as shown; tied places share their percentages and a team’s share is split equally among its roster. Each player’s share goes to the Lightning address in their Nostr profile, and the league publishes every payment on Nostr with its proof.
