Questions

How does Double Elimination work?

Lose once and you drop to the lower bracket. Lose twice and you are out. The winners of both brackets meet in the grand final. Good for: Brackets where one bad game should not end the tournament.

What if someone does not show up?

Games run here with a clock, like every game on the site.

How are seeds set?

By Elo at sign-up close, equal Elo by earlier sign-up.

For the nerds: the proof on Nostr

The league signs the tournament as a calendar event and, when it has a solo pool, the draw. Anyone can re-check them with these ids.
